This is a game field and volleyball court under about 12 inches of water. The drainage canal runs along the back (left) and the side of the property (right). Tio Cano Road is just beyond the green grass and is closed a little farther to the north.

    Cloud Bursts Over Guadalajara     September 9, 2025 Psalm 91 :1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.   Dear Praying Friends,        How thankful we are that we have a safe place “under the shadow of the Almighty!” We have plenty of situations where we must say, “Thank you, Lord for protecting us.” Just recently I wrote saying that hopefully the worst of the rainy season has passed. WRONG! Usually, we have a rainy season from June to September. After the Spring storms it usually calms down a we get rainy days until September. Since I wrote, things have gotten much worse. Guadalajara is being flooded in different sections almost daily. This is not the usual flooded streets of two or three inches.
