Heaven Is Sounding Sweeter
About six years ago, we received a special prayer request for the newest member of the family (the daughter of Ann's cousin) who was born with congenital heart disease. "Miss Lillie" immediately stole the heart of our deaf folks in Guadalajara and they began faithfully to pray for her. Several months later after surgery we rejoiced with her family as she did very well. Through the following six years and most recently, her third surgery, the family rejoiced that she was doing very well leading a typical life of a six year old. We saw Lillie's grandfather at the Christmas party, and he was so happy that they had been told she probably would not need additional surgery until she was at least a teenager. She was doing fine and had returned to a "normal"life.She loved life and made a great impression on all who knew her.
