     Day 2 - Things are slowly returning to order, although there are still reports of blockades in some parts. We are still under "shelter in place" orders and do so happily. The traffic in front of our house is moving after the authorities starting to remove burned vehicles. At 3:00 PM, both sides of the highway (four lanes) are opened enough for fluid flow, even though traffic is light. (See the video in your email.)

     It is still recommended that we do not present ourselves outside our walls as there are extra eyes everywhere seeking information about anyone. I will not mention the actions that caused this nor our location. The government and our neighbors know who we are and where we live, but hopefully not the wrong people. There are many rumors here that the USA set troops and heavy armaments here for the action, which we do not think is correct. So, we prefer during this tension to obey our Embassy and remain invisible.

     There have been reports that some were killed during the night because everyone was warned that anyone caught out at night run the risk of being shot. 

      The video was taken just before Noon. The picture is from a Fox page shot from above.. Both are directly in front of our house, and so we request you do not post them. Share within your church but please do not post them publicly, especially with identification connected with us.  

     All of our deaf heeded our warnings and went directly home, accepting that it was very risky to do otherwise. While watching the TV coverage live, we saw that the officials we near our church. While we were watching, they crashed into another car and immediately another nine cruiser sped by chasing another car. TV says that the city on the coast (PV) was under fire. So was our huge city here. A few ? hundred had the entire city under control.

     As long as things return to "normal," we will continue to serve the Lord here. We have had the necessity to shelter in place other times, and we have seen the city burn, although this seems like it was much worse. We have a large group of convenience store here of which 69 were burned. Banks, hospitals, many buses both within the city and those that travel to other places were all part of the attack, as well as hundreds of cars, trucks and semis.

      The end result? We don't know. God is still in control. THANK YOU for praying for those of us in different countries. It does make a difference!
