Monday

No, I didn't get a response written yesterday when I came home. I was really tired after two hours plus of interpreting all characters in the movie. My mind was not working any more.
It was a GOOD day, but not the spectacular day I had prayed for. Several of my Christian deaf who had promised to be there, did not show up. There were no unsaved deaf present. We had a group of about thirty and several of them got the whole concept, the story, the reasons, the application.  Some got parts parts of it, since it was a long presentation.
I feel that it was definitely worth it in the lives of perhaps two different deaf people. I made the application that Noah and his family had the responsibility to reach their world for Christ, just as we do. I then asked in 120 years, how many were they able to reach? Only their immediate family, but did he give up trying to reach a lost world? No. Noah had the entire known world against him and didn't quit. How many deaf are against us today? A few. Should we quit or should we just sit down and whine? No! Those two deaf have both been silent as far as reaching others, but both seemed deeply touched by Noah's life and his dedication to serve the Lord. Even one dear man who is fairly low verbal, immediately said, 'I know this story. This is the man with the boat and the flood."
Thank you so much for praying and being concerned. Cheyenne knew that I had put everything into this presentation so she reminded me that there may be certain ones who will approach later to say how much it changed their lives. We have done as He commanded. So the results are up to Him. Thank you for being part of the reason it was a successful presentation.
Pray for our deaf group as we redouble our efforts and seek to rebuild what the devil has tried to destroy. God is ever faithful!
